All Prototype Experiment Results and Conclusions

In Fallout 4 Vault-Tec DLC there are 4 different types of experiments we are going to try and each has different parameters to select. Every experiment will either provide the settlers happiness or kill them. It is very important to look at the notes very carefully and then try something. Once you made the choice then it cannot be changed or reversed (unless you load the previous save file). So here are the Experiments and results:

Power Cycle 1000

Basic Requirements

4x Steel
3x Screw
2x Rubber
2x Copper

Prototype
Assign settlers to work on the Power Cycle in order to produce 2 Power.

Note: This will only work in Daylight Hours

Added Power
If you add Copper(4x) then the Settler will produce 4 Power, but it will also kill him/her.

Sustained Power
To the Basic requirements if you add 4x Buffout then the Prototype will work fine and generate 2 Power, but it will also kill him/her.

If you add experiment with the requirements and get Steel(4), Screw(3), Rubber(2), Copper(2) then assign a Settler to work at Power Cycle to produce 2 Power.

Phoropter

Basic Requirements

4x Steel
25 Nuclear Material
3x Glass
2x Aluminum

Prototype
Assign a Settler to work at Phoropter with Basic Requirement(3 Power) and get 5 Happiness.

Subliminal Message
Assign a Settler to work at Phoropter with Basic Requirement(3 Power) and get 15 Happiness. You need to Add 2x Circuitry and use only 5 Nuclear Material.

Vault Monitoring
This works same as the Prototype.

Eye Care
Assign a Settler to work at Phoropter with Basic Requirement(3 Power) and get 10 Happiness, but only use 2 Nuclear Material instead of 25.

Slot Machine

Basic Requirement

4x Steel
2x Screw
3x Plastic
2x Gears
2 Circuitry

Prototype
With 1 Power it will produce 10 Happiness

Indentured Servitude
With 1 Power it will produce 29 Caps Daily(Workshop)

Profiling
Adding 2x Glass to the basic requirement and giving 1 Power it will produce 5 Happiness and 10 Caps.

Lost Revenue
Adding 500 BottleCaps to the basic requirement and giving 1 Power it will produce 15 Happiness.

One last request from Overseer is to build a Slot Machine. Being loyal to the Vault-Tec mission, she is eager to run some experiments on subjects. Select a location where you want to build the Prototype and like other builds you need a terminal and the power source. If you manage to use the prototype by yourself then you will get Lucky Boost as a reward.

Note: There are 3 Slot Machine parameters you can choose and each will affect the final version of the object and will be permanently added to the Workshop.

Indentured Servitude

The First Parameter will make the player lose the game every time and thus making him very addictive. This Slot Machine Parameter will result in a high profit.

Customer Profiling

This Parameter will make the game dicey and the win will be based on the chance. The Slot Machine is also outfitted with a camera which will photograph the subject every time they play.

Lost Revenue

The last Parameter will set the Slot Machine mechanics to also Win mode, whom so ever play they will win 100%.

Once you select the Parameter on the terminal, a new objective will be highlighted. You will find Clem playing with Slot Machine for hours, so go ahead and speak with Overseer after a while to take care of Clem. Now the parameters you select during the experiments decides how the Story Ends.

Type 2 Slot Machine

If you chose the Parameters which are against Overseer's will then she will leave the Vault in Anger after speaking with Clem. If everything worked out as planned then she will share all her ideas how to head out into the wasteland and giving you the Mantle of Overseer. You can easily change her mind by talking to her and convince her to change her mind. At the end, you will receive the 'Legend of Vault 88', as vault suit which reduces damages from ghouls by 15.
